Over 700 people benefited from free health screenings that were offered to the delegates of Asante Akyem Central by the Ofosu Nkansah Foundation.

Some of the test kits are Blood Pleasure, Malaria, and Suger Level.

Speaking immediately after the health screening and to officially launch the campaign, the aspiring parliamentary candidate hopeful and doubled as the CEO of NEIP, Mr. Kofi Ofosu Nkansah, passionately appealed to the delegates to remember voting for number 3 on the ballot paper to enable them to see the good things that were coming their way.

He reiterated that his opponents, especially the current MP, are going around telling people that they are going to put a CCTV camera in the voting center, which is a big liar, but rather come in their numbers and vote massively for a change in the right direction.

According to him, the current MP has done his part by serving 16 years in parliament, which is enough. The masses are calling for a new face with a vision to transform Asante Akyem Central and believe that he is the option to make a difference.

Mr. Ofosu Nkansah said even though he is not yet a member of parliament, he has managed to secure both local and international scholarships for 50 students in Asante Akyem Central and promises to do more when given the mandate.

He promised the delegates that he was talking with some transport agencies to give them work and pay for taxis.

“I have no problem with my cousin, who is the MCE. Make it clear that he will still remain the MCE even when elected as MP, and make sure that he reunites everyone,” he assured.

This is an internal election, so let’s respect people’s views and their decisions. If the MCE feels the current MP is the best for the delegates, please let him be and let fingers talk on the 27th January 2024 upcoming parliamentary primaries.

There are a lot of rumors going around that when voted for, he is going to chase the miners out of their site, and he responded that he would rather allow everyone to work but also have talks with the Minerals Commission to get Asante Akyem Central a community mining license to make the operation legal.

The community mining will rather create more jobs for the youth and also bring development to Asante Akyem Central.

He is optimistic that come Saturday, January 27th, 2024, before 4 p.m., he will emerge victorious with 75 percent merging.
