President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will from Thursday take his nationwide tour to the Volta and Oti regions.

President Akufo-Addo will begin the tour in the Volta Region on Thursday, September 9 before moving to the Oti Region, carved from the former, to draw to a close his nationwide tour, which began early this year.

Announcing this to journalists in Accra, Director of Communications at the Presidency Eugene Arhin said: “God willing from Thursday, September 9, 2021, the President will conclude his tour of the country.

“He will go to the Oti and the Volta regions.

“So from Thursday, he will embark on a two-day working visit and we will apprise you of the details of this particular tour.”

President Akufo-Addo is expected to address durbars of chiefs and people of some communities including Anfoega, where he will commission a lorry park and a storm drain on Friday.

This tour comes on the heels of a four-day tour of the Western and Western North regions.
