The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Assin Central Constituency Hon. Kennedy Ohene Agyapong has admonished the Government to desist from giving contracts to members of the opposition party.

Speaking on Accra-based Kingdom FM, Flagship Program, PAE MUKA with Reynold Agyeman, the maverick Politician was very much concerned about the calls for government officials to desist from awarding contracts to non-Party members who were nowhere to be found during the 2020 election Campaign.

But rather focus on awarding hard work to people who toil for the NPP. These calls from Party members come after it was alleged a known NDC sympathizer has been awarded an appointment by Government.

‘’I think these concerns raised by the NPP grassroot are genuine and founded, we need to award hard work, they deserve to be commended, notwithstanding not all Party members can be captured by the Party’s hierarchy ‘’he noted.

According to him, there’s a need for the creation of jobs for the youth, and also all those who lay their lives down to serve the party. they deserve better.
