Coach Otto Addo Names Black Stars Line Up For Nicaragua Game

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has announced a strong starting line up for today’s international friendly against Nicaragua.

Otto Addo has made changes in his line up that lost 3-0 to five-time World Cup champions, Brazil in a friendly at the Stade de Oceane last week.

Trio Jordan Ayew, Andre Ayew and Abdul Baba Rahman have been dropped to the bench alongside Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Jojo Wollacott.

Defender Alexander Djiku, Kamaldeen Sulemana and Tariq Lamptey have been left out of the squad list due to injuries.

The Black Stars are battling out with the Central American nation in a Pre-World Cup friendly at the Estadio Francisco Artés Carrasco in Lorch, Spain.

The match forms part of the team’s preparations towards the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 slated for November to December.

Ghana have been paired with Portugal (November 24), South Korea (November 28) and Uruguay (December 2) in Group H in the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
