The Member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency, Hon. Emmanuel Yaw Agyei Anhwere has donated 100 bags of cement each to some schools in his Constituency. The said schools are Nerebehi Technical Senior High School and Nkawie M/A Experimental School. This gesture of the Member of Parliament is his contribution towards the developmental projects going on in the school.
As Nkawie Experimental is constructing a two-storey building classroom block, Nerebehi Technical Senior High School is also putting up a dormitory block, which would alleviate the suffering of students who travel far to access education. Twenty (20) additional street bulbs were added to beef up the security network system at Nerebehi Technical Senior High School.
The Member of Parliament (MP) said at the presentation ceremony that education had been his prime focus, and therefore, would continue to contribute his quota towards its development in the Constituency.
Receiving the items, the Municipal Director of Education of Atwima Nwabiagya South Municipal, Ms Juliana Essel Cudjoe advised parents and guardians to encourage their wards to take Technical and Vocational Education (TVET) as it’s the surest way to mould the future career and job opportunities of the learners.
She acknowledged the NPP government for the massive metamorphosis both in human development and infrastructure wise, saying the perception that those who take TVET are academically inclined.
Mrs Esther Boakye, Headmistress of Nerebehi Technical Senior High School hailed Hon. Anhwere for the usual support saying it would go a long way to expand the school boys dormitory and improve the security network system as well.
Mr Ababio, the headmaster of Nkawie M/A Experimental School was also pleased and thanked the lawmaker for his quick response.
The legislator appreciated the NPP government’s effort on education and assured them of more support going forward.
