The Incumbent member of Parliament for Atwima Nwabiagya South in the ticket of ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Hon Emmanuel Agyei Anwhere to represent the Constituency for another four(4) more years ahead.
Mr Emmanuel Agyei Anwhere ’polled 46,929 votes in 186 polling station within the constituency, which is located in the Ashanti Region. His closest, Dr. Elder Anthony Nantwi who contested as the independent Candidate, polled 12,734 of the total votes cast.
Meanwhile the largest opposition party Parliamentary candidate Dr. Derrick Owusu Boateng also polled 11,883 of the total Votes.
A total of 72,513 ballots were cast in the 186 polling station within constituency.
The electorates in the Constituency also votes massively for the ruling government, NPP led by the H.E Nana Addo Danquah Akufo-Addo with 58,109 votes.
