“I will Serve Wassa Amenfi East In Humility” – NDC’s MP-Elect Assures

The National Democratic Congress Member of Parliament elect for Wassa Amenfi East Constituency in the Western Region, hon Nicholas Amankwah popularly known as Home Boy, has reaffirmed his commitment to serve the people of the constituency in humility.

 

He disclosed that he is fully committed to the course of the development of the area, and will continue of ensuring the area is not denied its fair share of the national cake.

The MP elect, who is also the former NDC district chief executive for Wassa Amenfi East said, “I will continue to be a Home Boy that they know” and pledging to work to ensure a restoration of massive developmental growth under his office as a member of Parliament.

 

 

Speaking on Jomoro based New Day FM which was also monitoring by myghanamedia.com after his victory announced, he insisted that the NDC has enough credibility, especially on providing infrastructural growth in Wassa Amenfi East.

A record according to Home Boy, the NPP under the leadership of Nana Akufo Addo and the NPP member of parliament in the constituency has struggled to achieve in the area.

He added that the electorates in Wassa Amenfi East compared the track records of the two main political parties before deciding on who to vote for in the just ended December elections.

Home Boy added that the 35,590 Parliamentary vote cast in his favour as against 29,401 for the NPP parliamentary candidate, Amo-Acquah Edward confirmed the confidence the people in Wassa Amenfi East have for him and the NDC party.

Nicholas Amankwah finally touted the restlessness and immense efforts put in by his compaign team and supports from his party that has earned him and the NDC party in Wassa Amenfi East victory to flip the NPP Parliamentary seat in the constituency.
