A/R: DGP Visits Sekyedumase Traditional Council Led By Nana Antwi Boasiako II

The visit was afford him(Nana Antwi Boasiako II) the opportunity to discuss issues of interest as far as to initiate a new person yard in the Sekyedumase in the Ejura Sekyedumase Municipality.

Mr Egyir stated that,the deemed it prudent, upon assumption of office as the Director General of Prisons, to call on the Nana Antwi Boasiako II to pay homage to Sekyedumase hene, adding that,he sees the chief of Sekyedumase as his brother. He further acknowledge that the Sekyedumase community also can bear the Prisons agriculture lands and therefore can serves as the food basket for the service.

Director General of Prisons extended the appreciation of the Prisons Service for the support Nana Antwi Boasiako II has given the Service to have temporal offices and a large land, which is about two hundred acre.

 

 

On his part,Nana Antwi Boasiako II said, Sekyedumase Traditional council and the entire community are looking up to the prisons to churn out reformed ex convicts who will contribute to the national development after their incarceration.

Nana Antwi Boasiako II, Sekyedumase Hene however, expressed his gratitude to DGP,Mr Isaac Kofi Egyir and his team for their coming to initiate such unexpected project in his community which will help the nation as well the Sekyedumase community to boost the security service which will clamp down a lot of atrocities.
