2020 Elections: Refutation of Edem Agbana’s Claims Against President Akufo-Addo – Alfred Believe Writes

In response to recent statements made by Eric Edem Agbana of the NDC, accusing Nana Akufo Addo of benefiting from irregularities in the last election, I find it imperative to address and refute these claims. As an active member in the political landscape of Ghana, holding positions within Loyal Citizens International and the NPP National Project Advocacy, I cannot overlook the dissemination of misinformation that undermines our nation’s democratic integrity.

Agbana’s allegations lack factual substantiation and seem to serve as a tool to disrupt our society’s unity. Nana Akufo Addo, the democratically elected leader, has consistently shown dedication to preserving fairness, justice, and transparency within our electoral processes. His commitment was evident in implementing measures to safeguard the rights of every citizen to vote freely and without coercion.

The assertion made by Mr. Agbana appears to be a desperate attempt to cast doubt on President Akufo Addo’s hard-earned victory and, subsequently, erode trust in our democratic institutions. Such misleading claims not only corrode the foundation of our society but also hinder our nation’s progress.

As responsible citizens, it is our duty to differentiate between factual discussions and baseless propaganda. We must not allow ourselves to be swayed by divisive rhetoric but instead concentrate on fostering unity and collaboration for Ghana’s advancement.

I urge all Ghanaians to stand against these divisive tactics and remain resolute in our pursuit of a united and prosperous nation. Let us uphold the core values of truth, fairness, and unity that define us as a people.

In conclusion, I call upon Mr. Agbana and the NDC to engage in constructive dialogue and abstain from spreading unverified allegations that pose a threat to our democratic institutions’ integrity.

Sincerely,

Hon. Alfred Believe Ahiatsi
Founder, Loyal Citizens International
Operations Director, NPP National Project Advocacy.
