The Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron, John Kwame Duodu, popularly known as “SIR John,” have been honored by the Chief Executive Officer and the entire management of the Network for Societal Transformation (NEST).

The Network for Societal Transformation (NEST) says that Sir John is the honored recipient of the accolade in appreciation of his extraordinary charitable efforts.

The Network for Societal Transformation (NEST) is an impact-making organization that trains and empowers people in employable skills such as detergents, cosmetics, CCTV camera installation, tracking device installation, biodigesters, etc.

 

 

SIR JOHN’S REACTION
Responding to the NEST’s generosity, the Atwima Nwabiagya South Constituency First Vice Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) and Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron said the action taken by the impact-making organization has inspired him to undertake further philanthropic activity and also thank the Atwima Nwabiagya Constituency South Executives and entire NPP fraternity for giving him the opportunity to serve them better.

 

 

He expressed gratitude to them for recognizing his “modest contributions” to improving the lives of the underprivileged in Ghana as well as globally.

Sir John charged Ghanaians to recognize that the growth and development of the country is a shared responsibility, stressing that every Ghanaian must do their part to support the government to achieve the progress they all seek.

THE CHARITABLE ENDEAVORS
This comes as results-oriented NPP Constituency First Vice Chairman of Atwima Nwabiagya South and the Ashanti Regional TESCON Patron, John Kwame Duodu (SIR JOHN), fully and personally funded a skills training and development program for twenty-two (22) individuals from the electoral area of his constituency, Atwima Nwabiagya South.

This is a part of the festivities leading up to his birthday on March 9, 2024.

 

On March 2, 2024, at Teachers Hall Amakom, Kumasi, the participants attended a one-day business empowerment training program. Upon completion, they were awarded a certificate of achievement, a handout, and free videos on a pen drive.

 

 

Beneficiaries obtained training under a variety of community-based skills training modules, which included making bar soap, liquid soap, alamina gel, azuma blossoms, washing powder, parazone, after-wash shampoo, shower gel, fertilizer, weedicide, conditioner, ointments, styling gel, setting lotion, fish farming, snail farming, mushroom farming, biodigestor, Fresh Yoghurt, Emulsion Paint, Dettol, Meat Pie, Pizza, Ring Doughnut, Spring Rolls, Mayonnaise, Bread, CCTV Camera, Tracking Device, Brown Sugar, Stain Remover, Running Alcohol, Hand Sanitizer, Cerelac, Pineapple Drinks, Naturamixed, Fruit Juice, Communion Wine, Soya Khebab, Tie & Die, etc.
