2024 Polls: Chief Imam Prefers Mahama Over Bawumia Because of….. – Malik Basintale Discloses

The Deputy Communications Director for the National Democratic Congress Malik Basintale has indicated that Ghana’s Chief Imam will choose John Dramani Mahama as President of Ghana as against Dr Mahamudu Bawumia if he was given the ballot today.

According to him, the Chief Imam will choose former President John Dramani Mahama to lead Ghana because of his emphatic stance against homosexuality in Ghana and his avid support for the Anti-Gay bill to be passed into law.

“The chief Imam has been pleading with Alhaji Bawumia to advise Mr Akufo-Addo to sign the anti-lgbt bill. Catholic Bishops have been begging your government to sin against that sinful act. You people have refused and you are playing semantics,” he said on Accra-based TV3.

“If the Chief Imam were given a ballot paper today, he would choose President Mahama who is against LGBTQI+ to Alhaji Bawumia who seems to support the act,” he said.

On the state of the country’s economy, he indicated that Ghana’s economy needs to be salvaged and that can be done by voting for John Dramani Mahama.

“You’re telling the people of Ghana to vote for your government. It is indirectly telling the people of Ghana to vote for nothing, to vote a corrupt entity, a visionless government, a government that has done nothing,” he said.
