ECG Releases “Dumsor” Schedule For Accra

The eight-day power outage is expected to kick off 10 May to enable the power distributor undertake construction works at the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point

The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) and Ghana Grid Company Ltd (GRIDCo) on Tuesday (20 April) released a schedule for power cuts in parts of Greater Accra Region, starting Monday 10 May 2021.

A statement from the ECG said the interruption is to enable the power distributor undertake construction works at the Pokuase Bulk Supply Point (BPS).

The outage which will affect customers in the North-Eastern parts of Accra is expected to stabilise on 17 May 2021.
