Disregard Fake News: Gov’t Will Be Happy If Parents Pay SHS Fees – Education Minister

The Education Minister, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has debunked publications suggesting that government will be happy if parents can pay for their students (SHS) fees.

Speaking to a closed source in the ministry of Education and Dr Yaw Osei Adutwu special assistant, Kwasi Abankwa said that his boss has never made such comment on any platform therefore the general public should ignore the fake and Malicious news trending on various social media .

He said the reports were “untrue and completely borne out of the desperate and fertile imaginations of the author(s).”

“The public must disregard the false, misleading and malicious publications”, he said.

He made this statement to MyGhanaMedia.com after Ghpage made a publication claiming that, the minister of Education has stated that government will applaud any  parent who wish to pay the fees for their wards despite the Free SHS program are free to do so.
