Residents of Pimpimso, a farming community in the Eastern region at the Fanteakwa south district appeals for social Amenities. Pimpimso is a village on the Osiem – Begoro stretch.
However, the natives are into maize and cassava farming. the challenges the residents are facing are poor school infrastructure, Lack of health facility, public toilet, and Telecommunications Network.
Speaking to CTV’s kamal Ahmed the ‘ Dademantse’ Teye Ebenzer lamented that due to lack of health center in the community has led to the death of three people through snake bites.
He said when some needs a quick medical treatment or attention, they find it difficult to transport the person to the hospital.
He Revealed that Two women have delivered on the road side because they couldn’t find a car to transport the pregnant women to either begoro hospital or bosuso health center due to lack of Health Facility in the Area. As a farming community, they mostly produces maize and Cassava.
They will be glad if Gari factory will be mounted in the area to help provide jobs for the youth in the area.
He said their community primary school is soo Dilapidated that it has become a death trap. Schools always closed when it rains.
He reiterated that the Memeber of Parliament for the Fanteakwa south of okyere Agyekum is Building new community Primary school in the area.
The acting queen mother of the community ‘Manye’ Akua said they dont have even a Drug Store in the community.
Anytime someone is ill , they find it difficult to go to the hospital. We need a clinic here. She said.
The queen mother revealed that they need a gari and starch factory because since there’s no job in the community they end up engaging into Gari buiness
Another dweller Rebbeca sackey in the area said most of the natives walks half mile before they are able to make calls
She said she always raise her hands high in the sky holding her phone before she’s able to get signal for mobile service network to make call. We are calling on government to come our aid because we are not safe. They lamented
