The District Chief Executive for Adansi North (Formena), Hon Eric Kwaku Kusi has started it clear that, a lot of challenges are behind the scenes of Ghanaians and there’s the perception that they’re rich.
In a proposal to government to give them car loans which will be deducted from their salaries, he account for their challenges.
According to him,this will enable the MMDCEs to have access to the use of car after they have serve their term of office.
“It very bad to see some of our MMDCE’s after serving their term of office,they straggling with people on trotro,so I’m pleading with government to give us car loan or deduct some amount from our salary for the car that we are using,’he said.
Hon Eric Kusi noted that,some of his colleagues life become miserable after serving their term of office hence his plead.
In an interview with SARKODIE PEPRAH, the DCE said,what worries them most is the fact that, sometimes they are not able to meet the demands of their citizenry due to financial challenges which the people also think,they are not caring.
“A lot of people think we are rich because of the car we are using but is not true ”
“He said,the work of the DCE’s is very difficult and sometimes very worried due to some demands that comes on them”
He’s therefore appealing to government to consider his proposal
