Re: Four independent candidates in Ashanti Region steps down ahead of Monday polls

My attention has been drawn to a publication on a website said to be called “mynewsgh.com” to the effect that I have stepped down from the Parliamentary race scheduled to take place tomorrow 7th December, 2020 at Bekwai constituency. I wish to state categorically and emphatically that there is no truth in the publication.

I have never and will never withdraw from a race that is clearly tilted towards a clear win for me.

Such publications are obviously part of the game plan and sponsored by our opponents who are trailing in the race and have become so desperate as to resort to such cheap propaganda in the hope of discouraging our teeming supporters from going to the polls tomorrow.

I urge our supporters to disregard the publication and treat it with the contempt it deserves.

It has no credibility just as its publishers. I take the opportunity to urge our supporters to go to the polls in their numbers and vote massively for the change they so much desire.

Issued by: Kwasi Amofa-Agyemang, Independent candidate for Bekwai constituency.
