Mahama Reacts To No. 8 Position On The Ballot Paper

The presidential candidate of the National Democratic Congress, John Dramani Mahama, has welcomed his 8th position on the ballot paper for the 2024 presidential election and has said he was optimistic and was looking at it as a symbol of hope and transformation.

This comes after the EC balloting exercise held on September 20, 2023, placed him in the eighth position for the upcoming election.

Mr Mahama, in a post on Facebook indicated that the number eight stands for a strong message for the NDC as the country heads into the December 7, 2024, polls.

“I am excited that we picked No. 8 on the ballot for the upcoming presidential election. Let’s make this a number of hope and change on December 7,” Mr Mahama wrote,
