The one-week observation ceremony for the late Highlife musician Dada Kwaku Duah, popularly known as Dada KD, has been slated for Saturday, June 21.
The memorial will take place on June 21, 2025, at 7 am at the East Legon Executive Club House in Accra.

Dada KD passed away on Friday, May 16, 2025, at the Gbawe SDA Hospital after a short illness. He was 54 years old.
Prior to his sudden demise, the iconic musician was preparing for a major performance in London scheduled for May 25, 2025.
Dada KD was known for his soulful Highlife hits, including “Odo Mu Anigye,” “Ene Me Nye,” “Yebeye Yen Ho Fi,” “So Mu Gye,” and “Obiaa Se Eye.” His music resonated with fans across generations and cemented his legacy in Ghana’s music history.
