Dr. Duffuor Mourns NDC Supporter

Former Finance Minister and former Governor of the Bank of Ghana, Dr. Kwabena Duffuor has extended his condolences to the family of the member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) who lost his life in a fatal car accident in Dansame in the Assin North District on Saturday June 17.

The victim was involved in an accident in the course of campaign activities ahead of the upcoming by-election in the Assin North Constituency.

 

In a press stetament sighted by MyGhanaMedia.com, Dr. Duffuor is deeply saddened by the news of the demised of one of their (NDC) comrades.

STATEMENT ON TRAGIC INCIDENT AT DANSAME – ASSIN NORTH

Over the weekend, I received with deep sorrow the news of the demised of one of our comrades who who lost his life in a fatal car accident at Dansame on Saturday June 17, in the course of campaigning for the NDC ahead of the upcoming by-election in the Assin North Constituency. I express my deepest condolences to the bereaved family and Dansame community in general. This is a big loss to the National Democratic Congress political and Ghana at large. We share in your mourning and grief.

 

I wish the surviving victims speedy recovery. Let us all keep safe and comfort the families of those involved in this unfortunate incident.
