Imoro will be remembered as a tragic hero. For all his skills and talents which saw him nicknamed ‘Tigana’ after France football legend Jean Tigana, Abu could not realize his full potential after falling victim to drugs.

In his dying days, Abu Imoro lived like a pauper while several of his mates, notably, Abedi Pele live a meaningful life.

Imoro is expected to be buried by close of day today according to Islamic tradition.
